I Got My Glasses

First of all my doctors appointment is set for tomorrow. I had to wait so long because I chose a specific doctor but he's the nicest one there and he always takes me seriously and treats me with respect. I guess other people feel the same way about him and he's in demand. It's fitting his name is "Champion". No, seriously.

Random wrestling reference out of nowhere!
As well as calling the doctors on Monday I got a call not from a doctor, but from my optician, informing me that my glasses were ready. So I (almost) immediately set out to go pick them up. I already knew what they were like because I used the old frame, so there were no surprises. They really help my eyes too. I wear them when I write, and now there's barely any strain on my eyes. Seems they were a good investment.
I've shaved since I took this picture
It's also fun being able to see things at a distance again. I had far too much fun walking home looking at things in the distance without straining my eyes. I'll let you guys know how things go with the doctor of course. At the very least I'm likely to be sent back to a nutritionist, assuming Morgan has been replaced.

  2. I agree with Debra She Who Seeks - writers should wear glasses. I do when I'm writing, in fact, hoping that the writing gods don't realize that I wear contacts much of the rest of my life.

Good luck with at the doctor's office and have fun with your new long distance sight!
