I'm going to the dentist today. To give you an idea of how long this blog has been around the blog was going the last time I went, which was around 2 or 3 years ago. I actually went in January to make sure I was still registered as a patient. It turns out that they keep you on the register for four years and I was close to being kicked off of it. They're an NHS dentist and I think they might be the only one in town so it's a good job I got in on time.
Those waiting lists are brutal
The reason I haven't been before now is quite simple. I'm poor as fuck yo! This may not sound like much to an American, who has to pay a lot (vote socialism!) but a check up is £25 and I'm likely to need procedures that could cost up to £250. If I need one of those major procedures I'm going to have to put it on hold for even longer. I might not be able to afford something like that until the new year. I suppose it depends on how my new pricing scheme goes.
Colgate is best dentist
I hope the dentist is as nice as I remember him being. They're sending me to the same guy they used to before.
PS If you're wondering; Yes I have "British teeth". Some stereotypes are true!
